Lula Wiles is a powerhouse, harmony-driven trio featuring Ellie Buckland, Isa Burke, and Mali Obomsawin on a rotating front-woman cycle of fiddle, acoustic / electric guitar, and upright bass, as well as a drummer. They recently released their sophomore album, "What Will We Do," on Smithsonian Folkways, and it's getting some great attention. It's been in the top 5 on the Americana radio charts since it's release 9 weeks ago, and got them a feature on NPR's weekend edition.
They just played the Sisters Folk Festival. This will be their first time at Tsunami Books
Opening for Lula Wiles will be Seattle-based Country Artist Cahalen Morrison.
