Poetry for the People: The Third Saturday Readers Series

This month, the Third Saturday Readers Series features Ralph Salisbury, followed by an open mic. Ralph is the recipient of C.E.S. Wood Lifetime Achievement Award. His three books of fiction and eleven books of poems evoke his Cherokee-Shawnee-Irish-English-American heritage. He grew up hunting and trapping, for meat and pelts, and laboring on a family farm, which had no electricity or running water and was only reachable by a dirt road. Light refreshments.
