Book/Audioscape Launch for Richard Leebrick, author of “Live on Wings of Love: A Journey to Peggy Sioux.” This book is an epic fable -- a kid’s story for adults -- about learning to love and asking for help. In this tale, the title character -- metaphorically the child of raging addiction-- is given her wings of redemption with the help of a courageous young man who takes the reins of his own destiny through selfless action. Along the arc of the journey multiple threads of characters are intertwined in a poetic, sometimes humorous tale of discovery and love. In addition to the story, the art work in the book is colorful, playful and passionate. The audioscape, narrated by Rebecca Nachison, is accompanied by original compositions created by Paul Safar and R. Leebrick. The event will feature readings by narrator Rebecca Nachison, and music by composer Paul Safar, and friends. Light refreshments. Signing to follow.
