About Jet Black Pearl - Live looping accordion songstress

Hailing from The Netherlands, the inimitable Jet Black Pearl spent many years in France before settling in Portland, Oregon. She has played in big tops, prisons, living rooms, tunnels, castles, barges and ruins all over the world.

Jet is a creator of alternative worlds filled with surreal humor and wry observations. With her loop station, she records grooves and layers of flute, vocal percussion and harmonies while squeezing one hot accordion.

Jet is an absolute must-see star of the Oregon Country Fair. Tsunami is looking sooo forward to her first performance on the Tsunami Stage

’A formidable force of music, and truly has to be seen to be believed’ (Three Weeks, Edinburgh Fringe Festival).

About the Baroque Betty String Quartet

Betty is a self taught vocalist and seasoned performance artist hailing from Kalispell, Montana, now living in Eugene. She writes the entirety of her song repertoire. Daughter of Montana’s Poet Laureate 2017-2018, Lowell Jaeger, she is naturally groomed to be the captivating vocalist and songwriter she has become. Her lyrics are replete with animal and nature imagery, a fairy tale more in the fashion of Grimm than Disney, with minimalistic guitar styling and soaring string-laden accompaniment. She also graces stages across the Pacific Northwest as a burlesque performer, and produces The Wax Poetry Revue burlesque and variety show.

Quartet members are:

Julia Frantz - Violin

Corwin Bolt - Upright Bass

Alex Abrams - Cello
