Craig Rosebraugh Bio
Craig Rosebraugh is an author, producer, attorney and has been a recognized environmental and political activist for over two decades, having led numerous local and national campaigns. Originally from Portland, Oregon Craig served as the spokesperson for the Earth Liberation Front, a radical environmental group that targeted industry with large-scale arson attacks during the 1990s-2000s.
During his tenure as spokesperson, Craig was excessively targeted by the FBI and local police where he was hauled in front of eight federal grand jury investigations as a non-cooperating witness and target, was forced to appear and testify in front of U.S. Congress, was the target of an undercover FBI counterintelligence operation, received beatings, chemical spray, and a broken arm from the police, survived two FBI and ATF raids on his homes and offices and over a decade of federal government surveillance, harassment, and intimidation. He recently prevailed in an out-of-court settlement against the Department of Justice, gaining access to his 22,000-page FBI file.
He is the author of three books and has been featured on 60 Minutes, 20/20, The Today Show, PBS Frontline, Court TV, Current TV, ABC/CBS/NBC Evening News, and in Rolling Stone, the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Maxim, USA Today, Newsweek, Inc., National Geographic, Time, Outside Magazine, and Details.
