A Poetry Reading in Celebration of Janice Rubin’s third poetry collection "Crossing the Burnside Bridge". The publisher is Cirque Press based in Anchorage Alaska. Cirque Press also publishes a poetry journal, Cirque: A Literary Journal for Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

Janice D. Rubin is a counselor and educator. She was nominated for the Pushcart Poetry Prize in 2008. Her first full length book of poems, Tin Coyote (Blue Light Press) was nominated for the 2019 Stafford/Hall Award for Poetry. She was a finalist for the Blue Light Press Book Award. She has taught at Oregon State University in Corvallis and Lane Community College in Eugene. Cirque Journal Poets who will be reading from their work include Ingrid Wendt, Jenny Root, and Tim Whitsel from the Eugene area, and Marc Jansen, Sherri Levine, Dale Champlin and Amalie Hill from the Salem area, as well as the Editors of the Journal, Sandy Klevin and Cynthia Steele.
