Thusday, March 9, 5-6:30 PM: George Lakey, author of "Dancing with History: A Life for Peace and Justice," Reading, Discussion, and Book Signing

George’s latest book is a memoir of a Quaker activist and master storyteller on his involvement in struggles for peace, civil rights, LGBTQ rights, labor justice, and the environment, whose life will be the subject of a new documentary film. Lakey has been described as a "civil rights legend" by The Guardian and Bill McKibben has said about the book: "Almost no one I can think of has made better use of their time on earth—and George Lakey just keeps going. This book is equal parts illuminating and inspiring!"
