Holy Smokes! Don't be surprised by this hot new Country band out of Eugene, Oregon. Comprised of veteran touring singer-songwriters Ky Burt (guitar, banjo; www.kyburt.com) and Sarah Holtschlag (guitar, saw; https://soundcloud.com/sarahholtschlag) and backed by the talents of Jessilyn Brinkerhoff (vocal, fiddle) and Matt Keenan (bass, longtime Sugar Beets band member), these four individuals comprise the core of a band bridging old country stylins' (think Jimmie Rogers, Bob Wills, Hank Williams) with a modern edgy and heart string touch all their own. Often paired with drums and pedal steel as well, their first gig was opening for the international touring band Front Country in October 2019 to a wide applause.
