Friday, January 25, 2-3:30 PM: John Kitzhaber, South Eugene HS grad and longest serving Oregon governor will be at Tsunami Friday Jan 25thfrom 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Known for his common sense approach to systemic problems, such as delivery of healthcare, he will make a presentation on Rebuilding Community - Moving Beyond "New Tribalism." Followed by Q & A. How to move beyond the political polarization undermining efforts for citizens to work together on civic concerns.  

Kitzhaber is the longest serving governor in the history of Oregon. First elected to the Oregon Legislature in 1979 when he was an Emergency Room doctor in Roseburg, he served 14 years in the Oregon Legislature, including 8 years as Senate President.
