Tuesday, May 15, 7:30 Show (7 door): San Francisco Soul Band Extraordinaire Royal Jelly Jive (https://www.royaljellyjive.com ) bring their unique wild jazz to the Bookstore. Led by dynamic front-woman Lauren Bjelde, this sultry sextet rocks into uncharted musical turf with their retro horns, razor sharp beats and groovy songs near impossible to resist. Fresh off a live recording and wild night at the Fillmore, these folks are going to take us oft-quiet bookpeople to a place we too often only read about. (If Tuesday’s show sells out, a second show will happen Wednesday.)
