Wednesday, February 21, 6:15-7 PM:  Portents and Parallels Lecture Series, sponsored by Indivisible Eugene.  In brief lectures area academics discuss some aspect of their field of knowledge that sheds light on our current political climate.   The February speaker will be Erin Beck, from the department of Political Science, U of O.  She will talk about her research into domestic violence in Guatemala and what that can tell us about contmmporary feminism. (lectures are free, with a suggested $5 donation to cover use of space.)
