Thursday, January 25, 7:30 Show, 7 door: Folksingers Beth Wood and Freddy and Francine. Beth, a Tsunami favorite with a wide Eugene following, is a modern day troubadour. She has performed thousands of shows and produced 10 albums. The Washington Post calls her “a musical triple-threat — a thoughtful songwriter and talented multi-instrumentalist with a supple, soulful voice.” This will be the first time Freddy and Francine have graced our stage. They are an Americana-Soul duo comprised of Bianca Caruso & Lee Ferris. With voices reminiscent of Aretha Franklin & Van Morrison, their songs blend Soul, R&B, Folk, and Americana with a modern, yet timeless appeal to all ages. Through their music Francine and Freddy exhibit their love affair openly on the stage, a pleasure to melt into on a long Winter’s night.
