Laura (Eugene) is a fixture on the music scene since moving to Oregon in 1990. She has earned a reputation as one of the finest performers on the west coast. Over the past 25 years she has produced 7 studio and two live CD’s, and has won the Eugene Weekly’s annual poll for Best Singer-Songwriter numerous times.  A guitar teacher for 15 years around town, Laura is an avid gardener and yoga practitioner.  Mare is coming to Tsunami for the first time.  She went from playing Oregon coffee shops to headlining major Northwest festivals before a songwriting scholarship brought her to Boston’s Berklee College of Music.  Currently based in Nashville, Mare—pronounced Mary—continues burning up the highways with her fourth studio album in tow.
