Tsunami Books co-hosts Authors Jeff Geiger and Ruby McConnell (both of Eugene) with the City of Eugene at the first Friday Night Park Blocks Series (next to the fountain downtown).   A Book Release Celebration, Jeff’s highly reviewed debut novel, “Wildman” (Disney-Hyperion), is the story of Lance Hendricks, eighteen and an over-achiever, who experiences life-changing experiences when his car breaks down on the way to the last big party before high school graduation… a coming-of-age story that will appeal to both young men and women.  Ruby’s book, “A Woman’s Guide to the Wild,” is the definitive guide to being a woman in the outdoors. Both Ruby and Jeff are great presenters and important new authors. Their readings will run from 5:30-6:30. City-sponsored activities include live music, food truck, beer garden, and family friendly activities.  (Free)
