The Woman of Salt: A Project in Opera

A benefit for The Woman of Salt Project and Lane Art’s Council’s art education programs. The Woman of Salt project strives to honor and realize opera’s potential for transformation through community engagement and participation in the operatic medium.  Featuring “Do You Remember?” (The Banshee), composed by Daniel Daly, performed by Alison Kaufman (soprano) and Nicholas Pietromonaco (piano); scenes from “Stop Bully!”, composed by Jason Heald, and performed by Abigail Cote (soprano), Kevin Dempsey (baritone), and Donna Spicer (piano); and a scene from “The Woman of Salt”, composed by Alice Thigpen, and performed by Laura Wayte (soprano), Nathalie Fortin (piano) and Kathryn Brunhaver (cello).
