Thursday, October 19, 6:30 PM: Oregon Country Fair Story Slam, Chapter 1. Folks, this is something new, an ongoing experiment sponsored by Spoken Word at the Country Fair. The theme this month and every (third Thursday of each) month will be the Country Fair. Sign-up begins at 6:30, the “Slam” goes from 7-10. Limit 5 minutes per story. Original stories told from the stage without notes. (suggested donation $5-15 sliding scale at the door)
